Job Description

Venequip Curacao, N.V. invites interested applicants for immediate employment for the following position:

SERVICE MANAGER

Responsibilities:

  • Must coordinate, schedule and control workshop and on-site service activities and guarantee respect of the operational procedures.
  • Must manage service personnel to comply with quality, effectiveness and availability standards.
  • Must advise customer, quote services and ensure customer is kept informed of the status at all times.
  • Must ensure parts are ordered and service performed in a timely manner to close work order and invoice.
  • Must submit technical report to claim warranty from manufacturers and follow up on them.
  • Must ensure manufacturer recall or parts change are executed in a timely manner.
  • Must elaborate and meet budget based on productivity and expenses control.

Requirements:

  • Minimum MBO and / or technical background (MTS)
  • Basic knowledge in Mechanics
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the languages Dutch, English, Spanish and Papiamento
  • Must be responsible, organized, pro-active and customer oriented
  • Must be able to acquire knowledge thru e-learning or training abroad
  • Must have the ability to bring in and manage new business opportunities
  • Must have good computer skills
  • Experience in a similar position at a car dealer is a key advantage
  • Must have vehicle and a valid passport
