For this client we seek candidates for the positions of:

Director of Food & Beverage

The position:

You are responsible for the management of the F&B outlets including the restaurants, bars, room service and kitchen consisting of approximately 150 employees. You provide direct leadership to the executive chef, the restaurant manager and other professionals, you provide overall direction to the F&B operations, you monitor and ensure the quality and the service, safety and other standards and you develop, implement and evaluate creative concepts and strategies including special events and holiday functions to constantly improve customer experience and to increase sales and revenues.

The profile:

You have at least a bachelor’s degree in F&B/hotel management and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience (in a similar position). You have excellent (strategic and operations) management, leadership, people and problem solving skills. You are customer focused, result driven and creative. Furthermore you are flexible and willing to work according to a varied schedule and you assume responsibility and accountability.

Chef de Cuisine

The position:

You are responsible for providing customers with extraordinary cuisine experiences in the different restaurants of the resort including the authentic upscale Shore American Seafood Grill Restaurant which has an open air kitchen. You provide creative input for (new) cuisine concepts and dishes, you organize tastings and you advise the Executive Chef regarding fine dining and menu matters. You train, coach and guide culinary colleagues in preparation, cooking and presentation techniques and you prepare dishes according to high standards of excellence. You report to the Executive Chef.

The profile:

You have a relevant culinary qualification and a minimum of 5 years relevant experience. You are talented and creative; you have passion for fine cuisine, for taste experiences and everything that has to do with culinary art. Furthermore you have meticulous attention for detail, you have excellent communication and coaching skills, you are willing to work in shifts and you can handle a high pace environment and stress well.
