About the Role:

The Client Desk Specialist is responsible for overseeing the client desk work and ensuring that he/she provides efficient and cordial service to customers through prompt handling of client’s queries In addition the specialist guides and assists the team with the reviews and control performed on payments instructions received and processed.

Job Duties in Brief

•Together with the Client Desk team handle, investigate and settle client’s claims in a timely manner.

•Escalate issues timely to the Operations managers and report any findings on complaint received.

•Perform overall review and verification of payments to ensure that payment transfer is timely and accurately processed by the payment administrators into the Banks core banking system

•Ensure manual swifts are reviewed, authorized and released manual swift messages.

•Monitor unusual transactions for review by the Compliance department.

•Review controls performed during and at end of day (monitoring Equation and Swift queues).

•Assist in handling investigation cases with correspondent

•Assigned as one of the key testers for Banking applications.

•Assist the Operation Specialist and the Operation Manager with the timely resolution of open breaks

•Provide service to the different departments of Citco Banking Corporation N.V., by assisting with the resolution of queries addressed to Client Desk.

•Co- coordinate “investigations” generated by clients to Client Desk and ensures each case is brought to a successful closure.

•Communicate any matters regarding the bank in a professional, timely manner and ensure that the client receives the best possible service.

•Review of the Cheque issuance and clearing process including the authorization of the Cheques.

•Escalate issues timely to the Operations managers.

•Perform other duties as assigned by Management

About you:

•Bachelor’s degree inBusiness Administration, Communication, Economics, Finance or Banking

•3 years’ experience in the (Investment) Banking environment, particularly familiarwith various Investments instruments and/or securities

•Banking Fundamentals Studies (NIBE)

•Excellent MS Office skills

•Knowledge of T24 Core Banking System

•Good interpersonal skills

•Team player

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

•Highly accurate

•Flexible attitude
